Musical Meditation with California Symphony

Bring a yoga mat and join California Symphony percussionist Allen Biggs for a FREE guided meditation at Walnut Creek Library on Thursday, January 30 at 6:00PM.

Allen practices meditation daily as a way to center himself ahead of performances, including the California Symphony’s upcoming MOZART SERENITY concerts, which feature a meditative piece called Breathe, by composer Carlos Simon.

Allen will lead a short talk on music and mental health, which will be followed by a guided meditation. No experience is necessary; only an open mind and curiosity about mental health.
